According to the general scientific theory, moldavites originated https://innervisioncrystals.net/ from meteorite impacts at Stuttgart (southwestern Germany), 14,800,000.
It is estimated that the meteorite had a diameter of 500 to 1000 metres (1640 – 3200 feet) based on laboratory simulations and calculations. The meteorite probably came from the west-southwest at an acute angle (30-50deg).
A large crater was formed by the impact of the meteorite. It measured 25km in diameter (15.5 mi). Ries Kessel is the name of the crater. Before the impact, the meteorite was split into smaller pieces. This is proven by the existence of a smaller, crater measuring approximately 4km (2.5mi). Steinheim. Ries Kessel lies at a distance of 30 km (18.6 mi). Scientists initially believed that Ries Kessel’s crater was volcanic in origin (leftover volcanoes crater). However, the crater is home to Coesite (unusual quartz type), which was formed from heavy smelting rock under high pressure following a meteorite strike.
The meteorite penetrated Earth’s atmosphere at a speed of 22 km/s (13,7 mi./s). The temperature rose to 5 000-10 000 degC during his flight through the atmosphere (9,000-18,000degF on forward-facing areas; pressure 500GPa).
The meteorite impact resulted in melting of the underlying rocks and meteorite, and their catapulting into the upper atmosphere layers. The melt became glassy in the atmosphere and then congelated. The melted mixture dropped onto the Czech Republic territory, where it was washed away to form sediments. The current moldavites deposits are related to this Tertiary-lacustral sediments. This is also the case for areas in South Bohemia, the Moravian parts Bohemian Moravian Highlands, around Trebic, and around Jihlava. The direction of the meteorite impacts was determined by the impact angel. It took approximately 450km (280 mi) for melted moldavites to reach the impact area. The area of molted moldavites that is impacted by meteorites is known as the fall field.
After washing from certain areas to secondary fields, the Moldavites were washed.
